Honestly, I may now come to bring myself to admit that a present-day utopia is possible. As a spectator on worldly current affairs and politics, I had recently arrived at a point in my life where I felt that any contrast to man’s history of violence and corrupt politics, was evidently only for platonian daydreamers and the ignorant. It seemed almost customary to hear about governmental red tape and scandals.

But it was only in the last few weeks, in the wake of the election period, where it seemed to me that the local councils seemed to resurrect in some form of social epiphany and unexpectedly their job description sank in. Our moon-surface like roads were transfigured overnight, causing some to be misconceived into thinking that the Queen would be visiting us again. One could stagger and blurt out patriotic odes to the uncalled for cleanliness of our towns and villages; however, like all grand things in life, this was not to last.

If every day were to be in a pre-election period, we would definitely have a true utopia.
