A workshop on fraud control and network security in telecommunications is being held till Friday by ETNO, the European Telecommunications Network Operators’ Association.

Over 50 delegates from a cross section of high-profile EU network operators are in Malta for the workshop, which is hosted by the Maltacom Group.

Over 50 delegates – all ETNO members - from a cross section of high-profile EU network operators are in Malta for the workshop, which will come to an end on Friday. ETNO members form part of a select group comprising Europe’s main providers of fixed, mobile and broadband services. Delegates from telecoms giants including British Telecom, Telecom Italia, Deutsche Telecom, KPN, France Telecom and Portugal Telecom are expected to address the workshop during which Maltacom will be presenting two papers.

The Workshop entitled “ETNO Working Group on Fraud Control and Network Security and its Impact on Quality of Service of Next Generation Networks” is evolving on round table discussions and bilateral contacts.
