A car was extensively damaged after it caught fire in St Paul’s Bay early yesterday morning, the police said.
In a statement, the police said they were informed that at around 1.15am, a Ford Focus was on fire in St Paul’s Street in St Paul’s Bay. Members of the Civil Protection Department were on site to control the blaze.
Duty Magistrate Joseph Apap Bologna was informed about the case and appointed a number of court experts to assist him in the magisterial inquiry. Police investigations are still under way.
