A 20-year-old woman was arraigned yesterday, charged with stealing a cigarette vending machine from Valletta on the night between Monday and Tuesday.

Jolene Camilleri from Valletta was also charged with damaging the vending machine to the detriment of Interbrands Limited, operated by J.C.C. Vending.

The accused was granted bail against a personal guarantee of Lm500.

Magistrate Giovanni Grixti presided over the court. Police Inspector Alfred Mallia prosecuted and Dr Franco Debono appeared for the accused.
