A UK national yesterday pleaded guilty to importing and possessing ecstasy pills and a portion of the cannabis plant.
Before Magistrate Giovanni Grixti, Steven Charles Bartram, 50, residing in Lowsteoft in the UK, was charged with importing and possessing the drugs on Monday.
Although he pleaded guilty to the charges brought against him, the accused’s lawyers claimed restrictions on his guilty plea, stating the drugs were all for his personal use.
