Vanessa Borg, head of the Research and Development Unit at Corinthia Hotels International (CHI), has returned from Maastricht in The Netherlands, where she obtained her doctorate in business administration from the Maastricht School of Management.

Dr Borg successfully presented her thesis on “Stewardship drive for performance optimisation in the hospitality industry”.

At CHI, Dr Borg has been involved in promoting the importance of the development of human resources, playing a key role in integrating people with company policies and culture. She has also written several papers relating to performance optimisation and stewardship drive.
