Malta Independent Friday, 30 March 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

Bank of Valletta is again organising a series of educational seminars that are open to the public, aiming to explain in a simple and straightforward way the different aspects relative to investments, banking and financial planning.

The seminars will be held on five consecutive Thursday evenings starting on 12 April at 6.30pm. Each session will last about 90 minutes and will be held in the Maltese language.

During each seminar, BOV representatives will give presentations on the euro changeover, pensions and life assurance, financial planning, trusts, funds and electronic banking. The final seminar in this series, on 10 May, will be addressed by Geoffrey Bezzina from the Malta Financial Services Authority.

The seminars will be held at Villa Arrigo in San Pawl tat-Targa. A certificate of attendance will be awarded to those who attend all five seminars.

Participation is free of charge. Anyone wishing to attend is requested to book a seat by phoning on 2275-3556 or by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. Seats are available on a first come first served basis.
