Go mobile is expected to announce cheaper roaming rates shortly, offering a new and more convenient tariff scheme to subscribers.
The cheaper rates follow reductions in the wholesale rate available to go mobile, the company said. It also announced recently that it was now offering roaming facilities in 179 countries, making it the operator in Malta that offers international roaming in the greatest number of destinations.
“Ever since the EU made known its recommendations regarding roaming telephony charges, go mobile has been studying the situation and we are happy to announce that we will shortly be reducing our international roaming rates,” said go mobile Customer Care senior executive Michael Balzan.
