Today the two big names in local rugby, Stompers TGI Fridays RFC and the Kavallieri Blue Label RFC, will slug it out at 3.30pm at the Marsa Sports Complex.

Although this is the fifth time this season that the two teams will clash, this match is the Cup final and the Stompers are going all out to win the treble again for the second year running.

Kavallieri know that they have their work cut out for them to break through the Stompers’ solid defence and have been preparing intensively for the game. The Stompers, despite increased confidence from their last three wins over Kavallieri, are taking no chances and have also been polishing up their plays.

Both teams are expecting a hard fought, physical game that is sure to have the fans riveted with excitement.
