The Malta Feline Guardians Club has again organised a spectacular full weekend show on 24 and 25 March, in which there were two judges from Belgium, Ms Corinne Grognet-Michaux and Mr Jacques Grognet-Michaux. The General Best title on Saturday was awarded to a blue tortie female eight month old Persian by the name of Micabliss Swami, which again won the title on Sunday, so winning the Super General Best title as well.

The two judges were strict and did not award titles where cats were not up to standard. They said that in Malta there was still a lot to be learnt regarding grooming.

On Sunday the club organised a speciality for Adult Cats which were divided in three categories – the Best Colour, Best Grooming and Best Standard. The Best Colour Male was judged to be Micabliss Noir, Best Colour Female Micabliss Tessa and Best Colour Neutered was Micabliss Noodle.

In the grooming section the Best Groomed title for a male was won by Laffrebella Hot Rod, Best Groomed Female Emotions Monalisa and Best Groomed Neutered Micabliss Eliot.

The Best Standard of a Persian cat, male was won by I.C. Diciotto Carati Isidoro, Female Micabliss Swami and Neutered Micabliss Precious.

Another cat show will be held on Sunday 13 May at the Coastline Hotel, Salina.
