Last November I reported a spent lamp at the end of Triq Joe Gasan, near the former car showroom. On the lamp itself, the partly illegible number read W?58 and locality 47 (the first digit before the 5 is missing since it has faded). Locality 47 is Pietà.

When I phoned the Pietà local council the person at the other end informed me that Triq Gasan falls under the jurisdiction of the Hamrun local council. I phoned the Hamrun local council. The answer I got was that they cannot report it because it is listed under Pietà Area Number.

Since then the said lamp is still out. Can both local councils decide who will report it and who will pay for the repair after five months?
