The Malta Table Football Sports Association has recently been involved in a continuous involvement to invest and find new talent especially among youths. After a long absence, this season the MTFSA recently organised the second circuit for the Under 15, Under 19, and Veterans categories at Ta' Qali.

The Under 15 competition was won by Hamrun Table Football player Matthew Pace (photo) who beat club mate Angelo Borg 2-1 in the final. The competition was contested by 10 players who played in three groups. After the group matches the results were as follows:

Barrage: Brandon Farrugia-Andrew Abela 3-1 (after shots); Darren Bezzina-Matthew Carbonaro 2-1

Semi Finals: Angelo Borg-Brandon Farrugia 3-2; Matthew Pace-Darren Bezzina 4-3 (after shots)

Final: Matthew Pace-Angelo Borg 2-1

Nicholas Sciberras won the Under 19 competition by beating Dane Xuereb 2-0 while in the Veterans category, Patrick Pace came on top by beating Natalino Tanti and Joe Zammit Pavia 1-0 and 4-0 respectively.
