Two teenagers were given a conditional discharge yesterday after being found guilty of thievery from a music and electronics shop.

An 18-year-old from Attard and a 19-year-old from Birkirkara were accused of stealing various musical instruments from Audio & Autosound and Knight Music in January last year.

The court, presided over by magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera, noted that the two accused had clean records and that they had given the stolen items back to their owners.

The court therefore conditionally discharged them for three years. Police inspector Carlo Ellul prosecuted.
