The Assocjazzjoni tal-Bdiewa (Farmers’ Association) has held an extraordinary general meeting for crop farmers at which a packed hall of farmers discussed and unanimously approved a number of resolutions.

One of the resolutions urges the authorities, the permanent representation in Brussels, the political parties, MEPs and the House of Representatives’ Standing Committee on Foreign and European Affairs to pull their weight and support the reforms proposed for the benefit of the fruit and vegetable sector.
