This year the Wilson teams tournament at the Vittoriosa Lawn Tennis Club will be held between April and June.

The tournament, sponsored by Wilson through their representative in Malta, Gordon Asciak, local representatives of the renowned tennis brand, will be played on Mondays and Wednesdays. The rubbers will alternate in such a way that players will not always be on court at the same time every week.

The competition will be played on a 15-game basis with teams facing each other in a round robin format. After the end of the first round, the first four teams will be involved in a knock-out round to determine the finalists. The final will be played on the Orienta Court on a Sunday.

Applications will be accepted up to a maximum of 54 men and 54 ladies. Members over the age of 15 may apply personally at the club’s office from 6.00pm onwards or may apply by filling the entry form on the club’s website www.vltc.com.mt

Closing date for entries is Sunday 8 April.
