Thousands of the faithful lined village streets and church parvises around Malta and Gozo yesterday to celebrate the resurecturion of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday. Cospicua was awash with colour and confetti, as dedicated enthusiasts ran through the streets of the city, carrying aloft the statue of the Risen Christ to the cheers of those who witnessed the spectacle.
