Visiting go mobile’s offices at the end of last month, Maltese Member of European Parliament David Casa remarked upon how the company not only offers a quality service, in a competitive market, but it also employs more than 250 staff.
“Since its launch,” Mr Casa commented, “go mobile has offered an innovative service for the Maltese market.”
Go mobile is a young company, having been established on 2 June 1999 as the second mobile operator on the island.
In just under five years of operation, the company managed to attain a market share of close to 50 per cent serving 85 per cent of the population.
Director of Mobile Operations Peter Gauci pointed out how the company offers a choice to the market, “offering a good product, that includes a quality service, guarantees our market share”.
Mr Casa was also briefed on the services offered by the company by Michael Balzan, Customer Care and International Roaming.
Mr Balzan explained the different services offered to customers, such as international roaming in 150 countries around the world.
