The 30-hour course started in October 2006 and lasted until December 2006, and was specifically designed for local estate agents and property negotiators. In all 34 participants attended the course and finished successfully, following a written examination at the end of the programme. All lectures were held at the MIM, STC Building, Blk A Alamein Rd., Pembroke.
The subjects covered were various, ranging from selling psychology and skills to property differentiation, legal aspects and financing. The lecturers for the course brought with them a wealth of academic knowledge and practical experience related directly to their field of expertise. They were:

Dr. Patrizia Mallia - Legal aspects and contracts
Mr. Stephen Balzan - Financial aspects
Mr George Papagiorcopulo - Sales skills
Dr Josie Pace - Sales psychology
Mr Douglas Salt - Real Estate agency matters
HSBC representative - Loans and financing.
The presentation of certificates to the successful candidates was held at the MIM premises on 16 March 2007. Present for the presentation were Mr. Douglas Salt, Chairman – FEA, Mr Lawrence Mizzi – MIM President and Mr. Reuben Buttigieg – Chairman MIM T & D Services Ltd.
Following the success of the first course, a second course has been organised and commenced on the 26 March 2007. The number of participants this time went up to 39. The course will end in May, 2007.
