The first Luxol International youth tournament for boys born in 1990 will be held at the Luxol Stadium from today to Thursday.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with Powerade (General Soft Drinks Company) Gio Casa, are sponsoring this prestigious tournament, while the Pembroke Local Council will be providing the trophies, medals and mementos.

Apart from the St Andrews Under 16 team, there will be two teams from Italy, namely Representativa Messina and AC Licata and one from Switzerland, FC Bellinzona. Two matches will be played daily, on a league basis.

The presentation of trophies will be made by Dr Michael Frendo, Minister for Foreign Affairs, on Thursday, at the end of the tournament.
