Rabat Dep.-Ghaxaq 10-0
Following this result Rabat assured themselves of promotion to Section B next season despite having four more games to play. They have attained 40 points from 14 games and they are the only unbeaten side in the section. As can be seen from the final result they had a very easy encounter against a weak Ghaxaq side.
Apart from the scorers who included Terence Azzopardi, Dalton Wingfield, Sandro Galea, David Azzopardi, Roderick Vassallo and Andrea Vassallo, Ghaxaq also had three players sent off for committing penalties, two of which were missed by the Rabat goalie Darren Vella and the final one being scored by Andrea Vassallo.

Zejtun-Zebbug 1-2
Zebbug made another step towards promotion to Section B next season. The final result does not reflect the true difference between the two teams as they created much more occasions than their opponents throughout the whole 80 minutes and also managed to turn the applecart after suffering an early setback.
They obtained 41 points from 17 games. Their last game is against Luqa who lie in ninth position on 23 points.
Zejtun forged ahead after three minutes. James Mizzi served Shasa Fenech with a long throw-in in the area and, with the Zebbug defenders failing to clear the ball, he shot past Zebbug keeper Brandon Bartolo.
The second period was a one-way traffic affair with Zebbug penning their opponents in their penalty area.
On 53 minutes they got their just reward. After a run down the left flank Rababan served Tanti with a cross who headed past Tabone from inside the area.
Zebbug scored the winning goal on 66 minutes. After a run down the left flank by Matthew Borg, he served Bugeja with a cross who netted a beauty with a rising shot from 20 metres.

Congratulations to Qormi, Msida, Birzebbuga and Balzan Youths for winning promotion to Section B for next season. They obtained 44, 35, 34 and 31 points respectively from 16 games. This competition is played over one round.
