A twinning agreement on producer responsibility will be concluded between Malta and Germany during a two-day visit by the federal German environment minister tomorrow and on Saturday.

Sigmar Gabriel will be on an official visit at the invitation of his Maltese counterpart, George Pullicino.

The German party will be meeting Mr Pullicino, and officials of the Malta Environment and Planning Authority, and of WasteServ. Mr Gabriel will also meet representatives of the Federation of Industry, have talks with the Euro-Mediterranean Institute for Technology and Innovation, and view the project at Dwejra being carried out by Nature Trust and San Lawrenz Local Council.
