The Malta Sailing Federation organised a 5-day training Camp for all Optimist aspirant sailors in the Games of the Small States of Europe which will be held in Monaco in June.

During the Training Camp, organised by national Optimist coach Jean-Paul Fleri Soler, all sailors benefited from the expertise of Italian national coach Massimo Giorgianni who was brought over to conduct training ashore and on the water.

All training sessions were held at the Ramla Bay Resort due to prevailing south-east winds and in fact learning to handle the difficult wind conditions proved an added bonus for the young sailors.
