I refer to the report titled “Positive response”(TMIS, 8 April).

In the report, Labour’s shadow foreign minister Leo Brincat claims that Labour’s eight-page document on its foreign policy, in which it completely overlooks the European Union, has been well received by foreign delegations.

I wonder how this interest compares with that shown when Labour wrote to the same delegations after the general election it called in 1998, informing them that the PN government was “illegitimate”!
