This was surely an exciting and thrilling game, with the final score in the balance till the final whistle.

Qormi took a quick lead through Talcevski on five minutes, with Mosta hitting back on the half hour with a Steve Borg header.

In the second half Mosta looked like having the edge when Daniel Theuma scored from close range, but a beautiful freekick by Joseph Farrugia, and a shot on the turn by powerful striker Johann Zammit, put Qormi back in front.

Mosta pressed for the equaliser and three minutes from time they were rewarded when Daniel Theuma obtained his brace with a majestic overhead kick that beat the Qormi goalkeeper for the last goal of the game.

St. Patrick 0

St Patrick and Senglea could not score in this match which in the end favoured second placed Mqabba who are now firm favourites to make it with Hamrun.

St Patrick were the better team especially in the second half but Senglea goalkeeper George Attard was in splendid form, effecting a brilliant save in the dying minutes to depreive St Patrick of the three points.
