The Nationalist Party’s youth movement welcomed the agreement between the government and Lufthansa Technik to build a maintenance and repair facility for large aircraft, with an investment of e55m and the creation of 550 jobs.

This was a certificate of trust in the country and its workers, the movement said, and followed the planned $300 million investment by Tecom Investments of Dubai.

These investments showed that the government’s policies in education, especially in science and technology, were having positive effects, even in the results Maltese students were obtaining.
