Saturday’s programme Kalamita Weekend raised the sum of Lm22,000 during a five-hour marathon in aid of Fondazzjoni Arka.

The directors of One Productions and the Kalamita Weekend team, who together organised the marathon, expressed satisfaction with the sum collected.

During the marathon, presented by Alfred Zammit and Fr Manwel Curmi, (founder of Dar l-Arka), several appeals were made, including by MLP deputy leader Michael Falzon.

The resident singer of Kalamita Weekend, Glen Vella performed in a mini-concert.
