Two Britons were seriously injured yesterday afternoon when the jet-ski they were riding went out of control and crashed onto rocks at Ghajn Tuffieha.

The police said the accident happened at around 12.20pm when a 24-year-old man and his sister, whose age was not given, crashed onto rocks while riding the jet-ski.

The two were rushed in an ambulance to St Luke’s Hospital where they were found to be suffering from fractures. Neither was in critical condition.

Members of the Civil Protection Department were called on site to assist the police.
