A man was yesterday charged with defrauding a company of more than Lm100 but less than Lm1,000.
Robert Ciantar, 23, from Birzebbuga, was charged with defrauding Schembri Concrete Blocks Limited in January and the preceding months.
Before Magistrate Edwina Grima, Mr Ciantar pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him. Police Inspector Maurice Curmi prosecuted while Dr Franco Debono appeared for the accused.
