Agenda Bookshop is celebrating World Book Day, which is on Monday 23 April, with a very special offer on books. Between Monday 23 and Sunday 29 April, all book lovers are being given the opportunity to purchase three books for the price of two from any of the Agenda Bookshop outlets. This offer is valid on all books excluding textbooks, and the book of lowest value will be given free at the cash point.

“World Book Day is a celebration of books and reading. This is a great opportunity for adults and children to purchase books at a reduced price from our wide range of titles in hardback and paperback,” said Rachelle Tabone, Agenda Bookshop Marketing Executive.

For the occasion of World Book Day, Agenda Bookshop also invited famous British author Katherine Roberts to visit Malta. Ms Roberts is best known for her Seven Fabulous Wonders series, published by HarperCollins. During her stay, she will be visiting schools and attending book signing sessions.

On World Book Day, Ms Roberts will host an activity for school children at the Embassy Cinemas in Valletta. On the same day, another event will be held for Agenda Kids Club members at the Agenda Bookshop, Valletta Waterfront.

Ms Katherine Roberts will also be available to sign her books today at Sapienza’s in Valletta from 5.30pm to 6.30pm and tomorrow at Smart Supermarket in Birkirkara between 10am and 11am, Agenda Pavi in Qormi from 11.30am to 12.30pm, Agenda Plaza in Sliema from 5.30pm to 6.30pm and Agenda Departures at Malta International Airport between 7.30pm and 8.30pm.

On 22 April, book signing sessions will be held at Agenda Departures, Malta International Airport between 11am and 12pm; Agenda Viset, Valletta Waterfront, from 12.30pm to 1.30pm; and Chaucer’s Baystreet in St Julian’s from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. On 24 April, a book signing session will be held at the Trading Post in Sliema from 6pm to 7pm and on 25 April at the Agenda Embassy in Valletta between 5pm and 6pm.
