After breaking for the Easter Holidays, the Netball League returned with another three matches, two from the first division and another from the second division. Kerygma Kaizers and All Ages Eurochange recorded good wins whilst Sun Dreams Travel NRG A drew Kerygma.

New Ages Wildcats 5
The first scheduled game was from the second division where, Kerygma Kaizers recorded an easy win against New Ages Wildcats who were never in a position to offer any solid opposition. In fact Kerygma Kaizers had a strong start and by the end of the first quarter they had already opened a gap of 19 shots.
Although Kerygma Kaizers effected numerous team changes they still continued dominating and the game momentum they dictated was too fast for New Ages Wildcats who to their merit fought hard till the final whistle. On the other hand, Kerygma Kaizers kept up their good rhythm of play and accurate shots to take home five easy points.

The second match of the day from the first division was the most anticipated as it was a direct clash between the two teams sharing second place. As expected, both teams came on court with a challenging attitude and as the final result indicates it was a battle till the end.
Sun Dreams Travel NRG A made their intentions immediately known as they forced their way to an 8 – 5 lead by the end of the first quarter.
In the following quarter Kerygma, with now an altered squad, shook up the flow of Sun Dreams Travel NRG A managing to not only recuperate their disadvantage but taking the lead 14 – 12 mid-way through the match.
In the third quarter it was Sun Dreams Travel NRG A who effected some team changes and this seemed to have the desired result as they managed to recover their composure and put their noses in front by one shot.
The final quarter produced very heated and closely fought play as both teams were determined to emerge winners from this encounter. However, try as they might, Sun Dreams Travel NRG A failed to keep their one shot advantage till the end as in the final seconds Kerygma managed to net the shot which permitted them to level the score to 23 – 23.

All Ages Eurochange 32
Ta’ Xbiex ASC 26
This last match from the first division also evolved into an interesting affair where Ta’ Xbiex ASC made All Ages Eurochange work hard to earn their five points.
Initially All Ages Eurochange took Ta’ Xbiex ASC by surprise when they managed to score six consecutive shots. Yet towards the end of this first quarter, Ta’ Xbiex regained some of their composure limiting the damage to only a three shot disadvantage.
In the second quarter both teams shared the play as All Ages Eurochange managed seven shots to six shots by Ta’ Xbiex ASC.
This course of action seemed to have encouraged Ta’ Xbiex ASC who in the subsequent quarter continued to improve their play also managing at one point to level the score 20 – 20. All Ages Eurochange were not flustered by this reaction and with a number of good shots managed to restore their lead by five shots.
The last fraction produced again balanced play where All Ages Eurochange netted seven shots to six by Ta’ Xbiex ASC. With the final score of 32 – 26, All Ages Eurochange took home a comfortable win and five deserved points whilst Ta’ Xbiex ASC had to be content with just one point.
