An advanced Logistics Lifecycle team has just returned from a 10-day pre-challenge reconnaissance trip covering this year’s Lifecycle Challenge aptly named “Where Only Eagles Dare”.

The team reviewed the most important aspects of the route logistics. This year’s challenge promises to be one of the most interesting, adventurous and challenging so far. A preliminary DVD of the route that takes off this year from Romania, crossing Ukraine and Poland and closing in Germany was presented to team members and interested parties at a preliminary meeting.

To date, the response towards event participation and supporting the organisation’s cause has been very encouraging. A team of around 40 cyclists, more than half of whom have had earlier Lifecycle experiences, have already enrolled for the 2007 challenge. The Lifecycle Challenge 2007 team starts preparatory training on consecutive weekends starting tomorrow. The training sessions help the team acquaint themselves with each other, apart from building the necessary stamina to undertake the challenge. Each Sunday, the team will be stopping in key locations around the islands to meet and inform the local public about the organisation’s objective to collect money in aid of renal patients and their families.

The organisation also strives to increase awareness about the subject of organ donation and collect organ donors.
