Malta Labour Party leader Alfred Sant yesterday visited Attard and Co. in Marsa as part of activities marking Worker’s Day.

The company, which was set up in 1921, is involved in photography, printing and the importation of foodstuffs and wine.

Dr Sant said it was important to stimulate commercial activities that created employment and that IT skills were upgraded for Malta to continue to be competitive.

Dr Sant was shown around the premises by company chairman Michael Scerri.
