Simon Zammit beat Richard Lewis in the final of the Pro Am tournament and a prize of Lm200. Zammit won the match 5-3 and made a fantastic clearance of 69 in the last frame. The frame score (Zammit first): 76-63, 8-88, 38-92, 41-71, 66-42, 81-10, 63-15 and 73-57.

In the semi-final, Zammit beat Kevin D`Agostino 4-2 (31-61, 41-58, 76-46, 84-26, 84-28, 69-50). In the last frame Zammit made another clearance of 69.

In the other semi-final Richard Lewis beat Jason Vassallo 4-2: (57-63, 47-77, 61-30, 84-26, 57-24, 80-27).

For the second year running, Thurston Grixti won the honour of being the best Under 18 player when he reached the quarter-finals only to lose 3-4 to Jason Vassallo.
