Party ‘with A vision’

The Nationalist Party transformed Malta into a competitive country that attracts foreign investment, MEP David Casa said in Qrendi on Sunday, during the activity Familja Wahda.

The PN, he said, was the political party with a vision and policy that led Malta to historic achievements; it was the party that had believed and still did in Malta’s success in the European Union and worked so that nobody was left lagging behind.

“Projects such as SmartCity and the continuous enlargement of existing businesses are proof that the Maltese economy, thanks to Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi, has strengthened its foundations and with the introduction of the euro it will continue to grow. Even the leader of the opposition during a visit at Lufthansa Technik said that investment is on the rise,” Mr Casa said.

He added that they had already experienced Alfred Sant’s politics. ‘Experience taught us that Dr Sant’s politics are politics of convenience to gain power,’ he said.

He added that the PN’s hard work in the past two years in the European Parliament was being recognised. The European People’s Party had granted Malta the responsibility of hosting a major conference. This, he said, was a fact that proved the credibility the Nationalist Party and the Maltese had.
