Melita Cable plc is pleased to announce that it has acquired the exclusive broadcast rights for the top Italian Serie A teams for the next 3 seasons, after agreeing terms with Media Partners, one of the most important European agencies in sports rights management.

Fans of Italian Champions Inter Milan, as well as those supporting the other top clubs such as AC Milan, Juventus, Roma, Lazio, Fiorentina, Torino and others can enjoy the home team games of these top clubs exclusively on Melita Sports.

The acquisition of the TV rights for the top teams in Italian football, after an absence of 2 years, continues to improve on the offering that Melita Cable provides its thousands of sports subscribers. Through this acquisition the top football leagues in Europe, including the Champions League are all available on an exclusive basis on Melita Sports.

The full list of Italian Serie A teams that Melita has acquired for the next 3 seasons can only be confirmed once the Serie A relegation and Serie B promotion matters are complete. Melita has acquired the rights for the following teams: Juventus, Milan, Inter, Roma, Lazio, Fiorentina, Torino, Catania, Cagliari, Bologna, Genoa, Messina, Lecce, Treviso, Cesena and Bari. The rest of the Italian Serie A and Serie B teams may be acquired by Melita in future under separate negotiations.
