Pubblikazzjonijiet Indipendenza has a new reference set for children. Kullana ghat-Tfal was designed for Maltese children with engaging information and illustrations on subjects that are relevant to them.

Kullana ghat-Tfal is edited by Charles Briffa and Michael Schiavone. It is a series of 15 books on particular subjects that interest children in the age-range 9-11 years, carrying factual information on cultural aspects of Maltese society.

The set gives an insight into the social values of Maltese society which created the Kullana ghat-Tfal. Authors include: Tony C. Cutajar, Marisa Farrugia, Charles Casha, Karys Caruana, Arthur Sammut, Angela Briffa, Martin Musumeci, Noel D’Anastas, Charles Briffa, and Nathalie Demicoli. The books are extensively illustrated by colourful pictures from the hand of Manuel Zammit.
