I would like to sincerely congratulate Marsaxlokk FC for making our village proud after having won the BOV Maltese Premier League. It is indeed an honour that a club hailing from such a small village, with such a short history in the premier league and with relative inexperience at the high level of Maltese football, was able to beat other teams whose experience is vast, to put it mildly. Congratulations to the administration, the coach and all the players for making us proud to be from the village of the champions of Maltese football.
