Next Saturday, four movements from Malta – the Focolare Movement, MUSEUM, Charismatic Movement, and the Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship International – will join over 160 other movements and 12,000 people from all over Europe for a day-long congress, in Stuttgart, Germany.

The theme of the congress is Together for Europe and the aim is to experience Christian collaborative relationship, and the richness of communion in diversity. The event will also display the impact the previous such meeting, held on 8 May 2004, had on the life of the European continent.

The event will be transmitted by satellite worldwide. The transmission may be followed live from 10am to 12.30pm, and 2.30pm to 6pm at the premises of the Focolare movement, StellaElise, Triq il-Huttaf, Kappara (tel. 2138-5801). Everyone is welcome.

An afternoon symposium will be held on Sunday, 20 May, in the Conference Hall at the Trade Fair grounds, Naxxar. The theme of the symposium will be Together for Europe, and the highlights of the event held in Germany will be displayed, with a local flavour, and the richness of the Christian social, political and ecumenical life in Malta will be displayed by

participants from different movements in Malta.

Those movements that participated in the meeting in Germany will also share their experience. This event will be held from 6 to 8.30pm and everyone is welcome.
