The newly-opened Cottonera Garden is a jewel that will help regenerate the south of Malta.

Together with the reconstruction of the waterfront, which had already given a new look to this area, the garden will continue to provide a new lease of life for Cottonera.

The workers involved – and the planners, of course – are to be commended for the work they carried out. Let us all hope that the garden will be well maintained and that it is also monitored against vandalism.

It is a job well done.
