Maltacom is supporting the newly established Student Council of the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) and is teaming up with the council to develop holistic growth as well as vocational skills and knowledge on the part of students by assisting them to reach their individual learning goals during their course of studies.
Among other initiatives, Maltacom also takes on a number of MCAST students as part the summer worker scheme, and is sponsoring 11 students through a three-year course of studies under the Technical Apprenticeship Scheme.
“Maltacom is proud to be in the forefront in teaming up with local education and vocational training institutions for the
benefit of young people who are tomorrow’s workforce. We consider this as part of our responsibility to the local community,” said Maltacom Group’s head of Communications and Public Affairs Franco Aloisio.
Mr Aloisio presented MCAST Student Council’s international secretary Cladonia Scerri with the sponsorship cheque.
MCAST Student Council secretary Luke Cassar accompanied Ms Scerri at the presentation held at Maltacom’s head office in Marsa.
