An Msida man was yesterday charged with the manslaughter of a middle-aged woman who died the morning after he ran her over.
Robert Vidal, 26, pleaded not guilty to the involuntary homicide of Doris Camilleri on 7 December 2003 at 8.15pm in Msida.
He was also accused of speeding as well as dangerous and careless driving. The prosecution, led by Police Inspector Frans Micallef requested that the court disqualifies the accused from driving in the event of his being found guilty.
Dr Jose Herrera appeared for the accused.
