The Malta Feline Guardians Club cat show has once again received an overwhelming response. Over 45 cats will be presented at the show to show off their beauty and grace.

The doors of the Coastline Hotel, Salina will open at 10.30am tomorrow, after the resident vet has checked that all the cats present are healthy and in the best condition possible. The show closes around 6pm. During the show, the general public is invited to come and vote for their favourite domestic and pure-breed cat and for the best-decorated cage. Three trophies will be awarded to the public’s favourite domestics and five for their favourite pure breeds. A trophy is also awarded to the public’s favourite over all. All proud cat owners await this moment with anticipation and with the hope of taking this title home.

The MFGC has the pleasure to announce that TV presenter and cat lover Moira Delia will be representing the main sponsor of the show, Nestlè Purina. Moira will be attending the show from 4pm onwards, at which time she will also be awarding a trophy to her favourite feline. Upon entrance to the show, every person will be given a Lm2 voucher which can be exchanged at Derek Garden Centre, Qormi. Every entrance ticket gives the holder the chance to win hourly prizes.

A professional vet and groomer will be speaking about the well-being of our feline friends, and will answer any questions or queries. Between 3pm and 5pm, a special competition will be held where children can express why their mother should win the best Mum award. Knowing how hard it is to choose just one great mother, there will be three prizes for both mother and child.
