Foreign Minister Michael Frendo is discussing cooperation in information technology in Tunisia, where he has had a meeting with Montassar Ouali, Information Technology Minister.

The two ministers discussed increased cooperation between the two countries, and Minister Ouali expressed interest in developments being made in the sector, saying that bilateral cooperation in it could greatly help the already-good relations between Malta and Tunisia.

The Department of Information said the two ministers considered the information technology sector as one of the pillars of economic cooperation between the two countries.
