I think that no matter what Daphne Caruana Galizia writes, she will never ever convince the Maltese to accept Dr Rebecca Gomperts speaking in favour of abortion in our country.

The very good work done by the Gife of Life Movement will galvanise public opinion against Dr Gomperts’ visit. I am sure Minister Tonio Borg will take the right decision by not allowing Dr Gomperts to set foot on Maltese soil if she intends to speak in favour of abortion. I voted for the European Union, but I didn’t vote for some unknown Dutch woman to come here to preach about the advantages of abortion.

I appeal to Dr Borg: Please, please, please, entrench the prohibition of abortion in our Constitution! We need it. Today, it is two women, one Dutch and one Maltese, tomorrow it will be a whole army of doctors who want to butcher our unborn children.
