Maltese pilgrims who will be in Rome for the canonisation ceremony of Blessed Gorg Preca will be able to avail themselves of confession services being given by Maltese priests who in the morning on 2 June will be in the church of Sant’Andrea delle Valle, in Corso Vittorio Emanuele.

Some 190 priests from Malta and Gozo will be in Rome for the canonisation ceremony where they will be split in three groups. One group will be in the papal chapel, another in the place reserved purposely for priests who will administer Holy Communion, and the third mingling with the crowds.
Concelebrating with Pope Benedict XVI will be Archbishop Mgr Paul Cremona, OP, Archbishop Emeritus Joseph Mercieca, and Gozo Bishop Mario Grech.
