The Mellieha hunters’ section of the Hunters’ and Trappers’ Federation “condemned without reservation” the vandal attack 10 days ago on the Foresta 2000 project, when 3,000 trees were destroyed in one night.

At the same time, the association condemned any vandalism on 30-year-old trees at l-Ahrax tal-Mellieha and what it described as illegal camping and barbecues in the area.

The association also expressed anger at what it said were unfounded accusations against hunters and trappers.
