President Edward Fenech Adami yesterday started an official visit to Gharghur with a meeting with students and their teachers.

Dr Fenech Adami praised the work being carried out by teachers at the Karmnu Sant primary school, and commented positively on the public library that can be found within the school premises, urging the students to make full use of it.

Dr Fenech Adami also visited the kindergarten school run by Augustinian sisters.

Yesterday evening, Dr Fenech Adami met voluntary organisations.

The official visit ends on Sunday.
