Camilleri Wines were one of the sponsors of the recently held Powerboat Grand Prix of Malta.

Dubbed as the Maltese Grand Prix of the Sea, the powerboat championship saw 15 skillful crews and powerful machines from a rich mix of nationalities namely Belgium, France, UK, Austria, Germany, Italy, Malta, Switzerland, US and China, taking part in the event which, unfortunately had its second and last event cancelled due to the bad weather conditions.

Camilleri Wines’ sponsorship consisted of a flow of Palatino and Blush wines during the various lunches, dinners and parties hosted throughout that weekend for all the people invited in the hospitality areas of the participating teams.

“We acknowledge the fact that the P1 championship (equivalent to what Formula 1 is for car racing) is being considered as the biggest sea racing event in Malta and accepting the offer to be among the major supporters to this event was only natural for us,” states Claudio Camilleri, Head of Sales and Marketing at Camilleri Wines.
