A major re-schuffle could be in store for ex-champions Birkirkara. Unconfirmed reports claim that four Birkirkara players are on the clubs’ unwanted list.

The players on the unwanted list are Etienne Barbara, William Camenzuli, Clint Micallef and Mark Anthony Bonnici.

The latter’s contract with the Stripes expires this season, whilst Etienne Barbara, William Camenzuli and Clint Micallef are still tied for one more season with the club.

However all players are not in Birkirkara’s future plans, where coach John Buttigieg, is set to be confirmed for next season.

Another player who surely bid farewell to the club is foreigner Dario La Rosa whose contract with the Stripes will not be extended.
