A man was conditionally discharged for 18 months yesterday after he was cleared of trafficking cocaine and possessing ecstasy but found guilty of possessing cocaine.

Christopher El Shoushani, 28, from Msida, was cleared of trafficking cocaine and possessing ecstasy in August 2003. He was, however, found guilty of possession of cocaine.

Magistrate Lawrence Quintano conditionally discharged El Shoushani for 18 months.

Police Inspector Josric Mifsud prosecuted and Dr Jose Herrera and Dr Roberto Montalto represented the accused.
